a little bit of sunshine and a whole lot of berries::

This mornings plan consisted of some  strawberry picking at Dressel Farm in New Paltz, NY. A Perfect day to soak up some sunshine.

This way... follow the sign
While, I was at the farm my little Friend Sadie was picking berries too with her Dad. I think she ate more than she picked. I can contest to that too!

 8lbs if not more.. now it's time to wash and prep for a Father's Day surprise for my Hubby.I'm thinking strawberry shortcake is in order. Shh! Happy Father's Day! xo Liz

country living fair::

Rewind the weekend.... the buzz in the Hudson Valley was the Country Living Fair held in Rhinebeck, NY. Two days of pure inspiration, vintage, crafts, seminars and friends. For me, that's the best part of these kind of events. Meeting people from all over the country and greeting them with my line.."Welcome to NY." I almost felt at one point like a welcome wagon lol. It was amazing to hear comments from visitors who have never been to the Valley before. They admired the green lush landscape and the many trees that adorn the valley. I can say, the Country Living Fair was very organized and well planned. Beautiful booths with an array of styles and merchandise. No two were alike and something for everyone. I captured some snippets of the Fair via Instagram- Lizlovesvintage and if you follow Gatherings Mag you can find additional photos there too. Many thanks to: Hihohome, Earthangels Studios, Century Farmhouse, Jo Packham, Ben Ashby, Cari Cucksey, Sisters on the Fly, Hammertown, Meagan Camp, Whitelilyvintage, Housemade, Sis Boom, Gray Barn Antiques. I hope I didn't miss anyone.. Till next year.. I recommend #clfair a must in my book. Have a great week- Liz
PS. I did get a chance to welcome Ben Ashby and the Folk Magazine team. May I say he's very sweet, talented and young. Safe travels Ben!

at the flea::

Hi.. just popping in with some flea market images to share from today. Here were some of my faves: bistro chairs, trinkets, shabby chic, dress form, mason jars, vintage books and needlepoints dating back to late 1800- 1900's. If you follow me on Instagram there's more images to see.. and even the topic of the day to engage in, lol. Leave it up to a flea market vendor to point out that the dress form needs a boob job. Hey, great selling point  don't you think? Anyway, hope you had a fantastic weekend. Did you get a chance to go to the flea?

peonies have arrived::

The peonies are spectacular right now, even in fuchsia. I'm happy to say this one's from my home but, just by luck. I'm no gardener.. I just cross my fingers and leave the rest to the almighty. Funny, how sometimes things all work out  without much work involved. Let's say in my next life... I want to be a Gardener. Really, I do. Hey, at least I get some points for trying. I think sometimes I try a little bit to hard. Enjoy your Summer gardening and your weekend. xo Liz

mini project, wildflowers, rain::

My plans for this weekend are all washed up. Doesn't look like the flea market is a go.. yeah. So, my head is spinning with ideas for a new project since, this weekends a bust. I'll be starting my mini project with the help of my Hubby this time around, power tool pro and handyman. More thoughts on maybe catching  a movie, organizing a closet or making potato salad and the tandori chicken recipe I've been dreaming about.Despite the rain, you can still see beauty all around. Catching a glimpse of it, this mornings cuttings will be used for my project as well. Lots of ideas to take on this weekend. I'll show and share real soon as my mini project gets moving along... Do you have any plans for this long weekend? Back to the drawing board.. Happy Memorial Day~ xo Liz
